January always arrives with a long list of things we’re told we should give up. Indulgences. Comforts. Joys. It’s the month of rules, resolutions, and rigid expectations. Reflection is healthy but we’ve always believed January doesn’t have to mean subtraction for the sake of fulfilling resolutions.
Instead, what if this month is about letting go of the things that don’t serve us? The bad habits that sneak in unnoticed. The negative self-talk. The endless scrolling. The stress we carry without realizing it. The rushed pace that follows us even after the holidays have passed.
January feels less about pressing pause and more about resetting with intention. It’s about choosing human connection over isolation, conversation over screens, and finding moments of balance whether that’s around a table with friends having a beer or simply carving out time to enjoy something you genuinely love.
This year, we’re inviting you to trade guilt for grace, pressure for presence, and abstinence for absolution.
However you’re easing into 2026, know there’s always a seat here for you to indulge or find comfort but always to... enjoy life!
Cheers to a graceful, present and absolutely fabulous 2026!
Until next month,
The Beer Philosopher
